They are never able to wander or be inaccurate due to probe conductor damage which can cause a Thermistor based control system to overheat or under heat intermittently.&nbsp;<\/span><\/h4>\n<h5>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Note 1:&nbsp; The &#8220;2021 Black Connector Plug Probes with 2021 Software\/E-prom,&#8221; will replace any Early (Pre 2021) &#8220;White Connector plug Probes&#8221;, OR even Earlier &#8220;Red Connector Plug Probes&#8221;. And, when switching to Black Connector Plug Probes, it will require a New Updated E-Prom\/Software to be swapped in. We offer options for New 2021 Replacement Probes with, or without, New Software\/E-Proms. Any DBS-1000 with a &#8220;Black Plug Probe&#8221; already has the newer 2021 software package.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h5>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Note 2:&nbsp; If your Pre-2021 DBS-1000 needs a DBS-1000 Replacement Temperature Probe, and you don&#8217;t feel comfortable swapping 28 pin E-Proms by yourself, Helix will perform all the updates, E-Prom and Probe installations free of Labor charges.
